This stylized bird is one of my favorite Art Deco tables. Its slender tapered legs and gently scalloped carved wings combine whimsy with elegance. Tucked into a favorite nook and spotlighted, it stands as an art sculpture. Or, as was all the rage in the 1930s, fill a crystal vase with an armload of white lilies and create an Art Deco corner.
The tabletop is solid cherry, with hand-painted metalic and black details; black ebonized legs. Also available in white maple. (Tassel not included.)
Legs are removed for shipping; easy no-tool reattachment.
